1. Euthanasia expereinces and attitudes scale
The purpose of this study is to assess how your personal experiences of euthanasia affect your attitude towards it. Euthanasia (mercy killing) can be defined as the act of painlessly putting to death a person suffering from an incurable disease or condition.
The research will involve completing two brief questionnaires, the first will involve questions about your personal experiences of euthanasia and the second will assess your attitudes towards euthanasia.
It is important to remember that you can withdraw from participation of the study at any time during completion of the questionnaires or afterwards until the 31st August 2010 when the study will be completed. All your data will be anonymous, you will be given a participant number when you begin the study and you should use this in all correspondence with the researcher. If you would like to withdraw your data at any time please email the researcher at N0249872@ntu.ac.uk quoting your participant number. This study is being conducted as a research project for an MSc student at Nottingham Trent University.
