You will need to read the information below relating to qualification levels. Please respond to these questions in relation to the pathways in which you have expertise only.
Qualification Levels
The qualification structures at the front of the document are described in terms of Levels 2, 3 and 4.
- Level 2 is equivalent to:
- An entry level job or first year apprenticeship
- Someone who has basic skills, knowledge and understanding
- GCSE level in England, Northern Ireland and Wales and Standard Grade level in Scotland
- SCQF Level 5.
- Level 3 is equivalent to:
- Someone who has developing skills, knowledge and understanding and has a sound basic knowledge and aplication of their work
- An A level in England, Northern Ireland and Wales and Higher/Advanced Higher level in Scotland
- SCQF Level 6/7
- Level 4 is equivalent to:
- Someone who has good skills, knowledge and understanding and has a good knowledge and aplication of their work
- Ordinary Degree level
- SCQF Level 8/9
