The learning objectives for this session were:
1. Participants will learn of best practices for drafting ordinances that anticipate & reconcile conflicts between historic preservation & environmentalism.
2. Participants will gain knowledge of best practices regarding the integration of Section 106 and NEPA reviews.
3.Participants will practice specific skills of identifying commonalities between environmental and preservation objectives.
4. Participants will be able to apply knowledge and skills to fostering alliances with environmental organizations to achieve mutual goals.
