Over the next three years, ERCOT will be performing a long-term study for the ERCOT region, with the goal of evaluating future market outcomes, defining future scenarios for transmission needs analysis, determining the information needs of policy-makers, and utilizing long-range planning and analysis to better meet the needs of state regulatory officials, elected officials, and other ERCOT stakeholders.

To do this, ERCOT is hosting meetings to coordinate discussions regarding long-range electric system planning through the Long-Term Study Task Force. In addition, to ensure we have contact information on active participants, ERCOT is requesting that each participant complete a short survey. Results of this survey will be used internally by ERCOT staff and will not be released publicly.
