Central Corridor/Traditional Neighborhood Zoning Study

City staff are developing draft recommendations for the Central Corridor/Traditional Neighborhood Zoning Study. The study is focusing on zoning along the University Avenue portion of the Central Corridor LRT alignment, but potential changes to Traditional Neighborhood (TN) zoning district regulations that are being considered will also affect anywhere these zoning districts are used in the city. The City’s Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the staff recommendations in Fall, 2010. We are seeking public input on several key questions before we finalize the staff recommendations. Please take a moment to answer the following five questions:

1. Central Corridor LRT will provide improved transit service and make it easier to get to destinations without a car. Should the City eliminate parking requirements in the areas around LRT stations, and let businesses and developers decide how many parking spaces each development needs?
