National Student Survey on Respect of People with Developmental Disabilities

1.

We are The Arc of Riverside County and we are taking a survey to help us better understand how people with developmental disabilities are viewed in our schools and communities.

People of all ages and from any place have the opportunity to participate. There are no right or wrong answers, only opinions and answers based on what you know and observe around you about these members of our community.

This is an anonymous survey but we are asking respondents to give us their zip code to ensure that we are obtaining responses from many different areas of our state and country.

The survey takes about 5 minutes to complete and a little longer if you choose to comment where it is indicated. Thanks for taking the time to help us.

What is a developmental Disability?

This survey is about people with developmental disabilities. These individuals may attend Special Education classes in school or may need aid in doing regular class work. Many also need support for different aspects of daily living including working at various jobs. The people having this disability vary greatly in their need for support from other people. People who have Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Autism are often said to have a developmental disability.
