ISMP Survey on Drug Shortages Associated with Parenteral Nutrition (PN)

ISMP is conducting a short survey on PN to determine how the shortages of key ingredients have affected healthcare providers and patients—from how extensive the shortages have been to how the US market has reacted to imported foreign products that were not approved for the US market originally but which FDA is allowing to help manage the shortages. We are also interested in knowing if any errors or adverse outcomes resulted from a drug shortage associated with PN ingredients, either in adults or children. This survey will be open until December 6, 2013.
