5. We would like to get as accurate a count as possible of how many children/teens participate in summer reading. If you have a registration process, we ask libraries to count the number of children/teens who register. We do not count program attendance as children/teens may attend more than one program.

Outreach sites (summer nutrition programs, daycares, schools, clinics, events, etc.): It is more difficult to count children/teens who participate at an outreach site, especially if it is held outdoors, like the summer nutrition programs. Please do your best to count participating children/teens only once. One way to do that would be to count the number of books distributed or the number of reading logs distributed at outreach sites. We appreciate your efforts to provide this important data. Please tell us how many individual children/teens participated in summer reading through: (please enter a number in EACH box below)
