Inter-rater Agreement Master Scorers Application |
Welcome
This application will help CDE select a small group of Colorado educators and experts who are experienced in using the CO Teacher Quality Standards. The goal is to master score videos for use in developing an inter-rater agreement/calibration process for educators throughout the state.
Those chosen to participate will be required to align evidence from the Colorado Quality Standards teacher rubric to the teaching practices observed in videos. There will be initial training on navigating the online system, Elevate Colorado, and other training either face-to-face or through webinars throughout 2016 in the spring and summer. Additional work throughout the 2016-17 school year is expected as CDE continues to develop video plans.
A committee of reviewers both internal and external to CDE will review the applications and select eight-ten potential master scorers. Participation will be dependent on the applicant’s ability to complete the required work in the time frames provided.
Please note: All potential participants must be available for training on Friday, June 10th as well as Wednesday - Friday, July 6-8 in the Denver metro area.
All applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 14th. Late applications will not be accepted.
