As you may be aware, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) has a provision to provide funding for certain eligible professionals to encourage the implementation and use of electronic health records (EHR). Following are several questions asking about your current access to and use of health information technology, as well as the plans you are making for the future.
The information you provide will not be reported individually and will not be considered a commitment of any kind. Your answers will be combined with that of other providers to obtain an understanding of the overall health care technology needs of Indiana. Indiana Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP) will report, on an aggregate basis, this information to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Your response will not automatically qualify you for incentive funds.
