AFDO, on behalf of the International Food Protection Training Institute (IFPTI), is seeking to hire people with expertise and experience (subject matter experts - SMEs) to work on food protection projects designed to improve training courses and the training system for food protection professionals. Areas of involvement include:

- Curriculum Planning
- Course Instruction
- Course Design
- Technical Writing
- Course Development
- Course Review

There are two (2) projects that are currently being developed. AFDO and the IFPTI are soliciting SMEs for the following:

1) Develop a "Fellowship in "Food Protection" program. This program will provide regulatory specialists exposure to a broad range of knowledge and skills essential to successfully lead food protection programs. We envision this project initially employing 4-5 part-time SMEs over a period of approximately 12 months.

2) Staff a Curriculum Committee. This committee will assist the IFPTI in organizing existing food protection training and integrating courses into the curriculum. The committee will initially meet to identify a journey-level curriculum. This project will employ 6-10 SMEs on an intermittent basis.
