Hudson County Open Space Survey

Greetings,
Since the inception of the Hudson County Open Space, Recreation, and Historic Preservation Trust in 2004, over $42 million in funding has been provided for local government agencies and non‐profit organizations to work towards preserving cultural and natural resources, improving recreational facilities, and restoring historic sites. It is the continued mission of the Open Space Trust to improve the quality of life by preserving open space and enhancing recreational opportunities throughout all of Hudson County.

With this in mind, the Hudson County Division of Planning is updating Hudson County’s Open Space, Recreation and Historic Preservation Plan. As part of this effort, the Division of Planning is conducting a survey to measure public opinions and attitudes about local and regional parks, open space, historic sites and cultural amenities. The results of this survey will be used to guide and inform the Open Space plan update. This survey should take no more than 5 minutes and your participation is highly appreciated.

On behalf of the County Executive, Thomas A. DeGise, the Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and the Hudson County Open Space Advisory Board, thank you for taking the time to complete this survey.
