Welcome

Dear All,

We are excited to launch the second edition of the Talent Barometer.

A barometer, as we all know, gauges the pressure of the atmosphere indicating an area of high or low pressure. The Talent Barometer aims to do the same for the labor market. It measures whether the opportunities for talent is entering a period of high pressure (more career opportunities) or low pressure (less career opportunities).

From last year's data we learnt that:
- More than 1 out of every 2 managers are actively looking for better jobs;
- 57% of all managers believe they can get a better job within the next 12 months;
- The reason people leave their jobs is because of unsatisfactory compensation and lack of growth; and
- The reason people stay in their jobs is due to challenging work and reputation of their current employer.

This year's data will give us a great opportunity to identify whether the talent market is entering an area of increased pressure, since last year.

We will publish the findings of the Talent Barometer 2012 in the next couple of months and are excited about the insights it will reveal.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey. Your views are important and will help organizations and individuals obtain a better understanding of what is happening in the Pakistan labor market.

Kind Regards
