CV Consultation applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

- Hold a current academic appointment at Harvard Medical School with Brigham and Women's Hospital as the primary appointing institution (check the HMS White Pages to verify appointing institution)

- Be within 6 months of submitting materials for promotion to the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, also at Harvard Medical School (part time or full time)

- Have ready a current, updated CV in the new HMS template available for review (for templates please go to http://cv.hms.harvard.edu/)
Each CV Consultation includes 2 hours of the consultant's time, either virtually, in-person, or a combination of both. Most are able to be done completely via email. Consultations are arranged on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Due to the time and resource constraints, average wait time for a consultation is three to four weeks, and may be longer during certain busy periods. Please ensure you allow adequate time for the consultation in line with your personal or department timeline.

If you meet all of the requirements, please go to the next page and complete the request form.

If you are a clinical or research fellow, you may request an appointment for a CV review at the HMS Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) by emailing OFA_Promotions@hms.harvard.edu. You may access additional resources at the OFA website http://www.fa.hms.harvard.edu/.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact the CFDD at BWHCFDD@partners.org or 617-525-7646 to find out about other ways we may be able to help you.
