Help Shape the Future! Your input is key!
Welcome and thank you for taking the time to provide your valuable input on the social wellbeing of Halton Hills. Your input is key to preparing a Community Sustainability Strategy. This Strategy will be a blueprint for charting a parth to a more sustainable future. A future where we can maintain and enhance our quality of life.
As Co-Chairs of the Social Sub-Committee "We are very excited about the opportunity we have to influence the future social climate of Halton Hills in the area of social services."
What is social wellbeing and sustainability?
Social sustainability is about providing residents and businesses with the infrastructure needed for everyday living such as libraries, parks, hospitals, housing and alternative transportation options. It is about creating safe and healthy communities where everyone has access to health care services and enjoys a healthy lifestyle. It is also about creating the most desirable community to live, work and play, enjoying a high quality of live, having access to a variety of local educational opportunities for people of all ages, and encouraging the community to be involved in decision making.
Best regards,
David Clayton and Nancy Heinmiller
Co-Chairs, Social Sub-Committee
