As part of the commitment of English Heritage to Heritage Protection Reform (HPR), 1Spatial are working with English Heritage to prepare an analysis of tools, technologies and techniques available to those making planning decisions about the character and component of the historic environment.
Your input to this survey will be key in the formulation of that understanding and will provide input into the future recommendations in the analysis.
Central to our project is the development of an understanding of the practical and technical challenges faced by Historic Environment Record (HER) Officers and Local Planning Authority (LPA) Officers when seeking to interoperate with each other and make use of the FISH Interoperability Toolkit and MIDAS Heritage XML, which you can access through the Toolkit.
