You have been invited to participate in an online research survey relating to your views about the impact of international events on the residents of Abu Dhabi. It is being conducted as part of a degree dissertation project for a postgraduate student of Northumbria University.
The results of the information you provide will be analysed and used to form conclusions in the dissertation project. No personal information will be collected and once the dissertation is submitted, all information will be destroyed.
Your decision to participate in this study is completely voluntary and you have the right to withdraw during the questionnaire and any information that was collected will be destroyed.
It is guaranteed that all participants filling in this questionnaire will remain anonymous and all answers will be treated confidentially. The researcher will hold all data in the strictest confidence with only the research team having access to them. The researcher and Northumbria University will comply with the Data Protection Act (UK) 1998.
The research data will be securely managed and destroyed immediately after the completion and submission of the research paper.
The research is only to be completed by residents of Abu Dhabi over the age of 18. It contains six sections and will take approximately five minutes to complete.
