Giant Walking Bus 2014 |
Dear teacher,
Please take 15 minutes to help make Giant Walking Bus 2014 a success!
Brake’s Giant Walking Bus takes place 11 June, with tens of thousands of kids marching for road safety from their school gates. As well as all the action taking place in schools, Brake will be raising awareness about children’s road safety in the media.
To run a successful campaign, we need your help completing this 'hands up' survey of 7-11 year olds. It’s also a great assembly or classroom activity to get kids thinking about road safety.
Children answer with a show of hands, you write down the numbers who answer yes and no, then input your answers here or download our pdf and scan it and email to walkingbus@brake.org.uk or fax to 01484 559983.
If you can do the survey with more than one class, that’s great - just photocopy the pdf!
NB. Please approach the survey sensitively. It is important to know if anyone in the class has been seriously affected by a road crash. In some cases it may be appropriate to ask a child if they prefer to be excused.
The results of this survey are not attributed back to the school. We only ask for the name of your school so results can be broken down by region.
