Using pre-pay metering, customers have complete control of when electricity is on or off and the electricity provider does not ever send a bill. The meter automatically turns off if the Pre-Pay funds run out and automatically turns on when more money is deposited on the account. How likely would you be to use Pre-Pay metering if your supplier offered it as a payment option?
