Children of Greater Grand Rapids- The Mayor's Conversation

 
Recently, Mayor George Heartwell organized a community wide conversation about the children of Grand Rapids in his State of the City Address on Jan. 28, 2012. He urged community members to answer the following questions:
1. Do we value all children equally?
2. Are we prepared to prioritize children's needs above all others?
3. What clear, identifiable needs do children have?
4. What can we do INDIVIDUALLY to meet those needs?
5. What can we do COLLECTIVELY to meet those needs?
