1. LOT Application

 
The Leaders of Tomorrow Mentorship Program brings together post-secondary students in their final year of studies and industry experts to develop the leadership and managerial skills of Vancouver's future business leaders. Once accepted into the program, students develop their skills further in Mentorship, Volunteerism, Networking & Leadership.

The application will take you 10-15 minutes to complete.

1. When will you be graduating from your program of study?

2. Will you be looking to start a new new job after graduation?
*If you already have a job that you plan to continue then the answer would be no.

3. What Post Secondary School do you attend?

4. How many courses will you be taking between September 2010 and August 2011?

5. Will you be living in Vancouver from October 2010 - September of 2011

6. Do you plan to stay in Vancouver after graduation?

7. Are you a permanent resident of Canada?

8. Please complete the following application to apply as a mentee in the Leaders of Tomorrow Mentorship Program for the 2010/2011 academic year.

9. Volunteerism is a key pillar of the LOT Program.
Please outline some of your past volunteer activities.

10. We try to pair our mentees up with mentors that share some similar experiences and backgrounds. Please outline some of your past work experiences or notable achievements.

11. Please let us know why you would like to participate in the Leaders of Tomorrow Mentorship Program?

12. Please briefly describe the type of mentor you are looking for.
For example: industry / specialization / experience.

13. How did you hear about the Leaders of Tomorrow Mentorship Program? If through a student, please specify the individual.

14. Please review the following commitments of the Leaders of Tomorrow Mentorship Program which will be asked of you if you are accepted.
1. I will agree to meet with my assigned mentor at least 5-7 times between October 2010 and August 2011.
2. I will commit to volunteer regularly on a committee, task force, or outside organization of my choice, as arranged by the LOT Coordinator.
3. I will maximize my membership with the Vancouver Board of Trade by attending events when my schedule permits and pay the discounted LOT membership fee of $257.50 + GST by credit card or cheque.
