In 2006 in conjunction with the completion of the previous Strategic Plan, the Board adopted a document called the “Game Plan” which everyone received at the last meeting. The Game Plan outlines a blueprint and a set of tasks to assure the board is properly organized to implement the previous plan.

The current strategic plan articulates a goal as a part of Strategy 6 to “utilize the Board of Directors, Advisory Committee and friends of Summit as a resources and assets in achieving SAOIC goals and objectives. The primary objectives of this survey are to determine board level of satifaction, knowledge and connectedness with the organization, and to align the board with the new Strategic Plan.
