The GAO Volunteer of the Year Recognition Program has been designed to recognize outstanding performance and contributions by volunteers who have played an instrumental role in promoting the growth and development of amateur golf throughout the Province of Ontario.

Eligibility: Individuals who are currently active members of the GAO and have been involved with the Golf Association in a volunteer capacity for more than 3 consecutive years. Nominees must not have won this award in the past 3 years. These individuals will have made a considerable contribution to amateur golf in Ontario through any of the various GAO programs or services.
