The Furman University Office of Admission is seeking four to five incoming freshmen to serve as weekly bloggers during the 2012-2013 academic year. These students will provide a creative, honest, and entertaining perspective into the life of a Furman student. Applicants must be willing to be involved in academic, community, and social opportunities.
Applicants must apply by June 15. The application will include the questions below in addition to a personal blog. We will follow each blog June 15 through July 15. Post as often as you like and be creative! The official Furman Freshmen Bloggers will be announced by July 20.
Those students selected as Freshmen Bloggers will be required to post a blog at least once a week throughout the academic year. Bloggers who meet their requirements will receive compensation of $1000. Please direct any questions to Bartley Sides at bartley.sides@furman.edu in the Office of Admission.
