Dear Educators, Parrot Enthusiasts, and Conservationists,

Warm greetings! The Katala Foundation Inc., a non-government organization based in the Philippines, implements the Philippine Cockatoo Conservation Program since eleven years. We believe conservation education is integral and vital for the success of any conservation work, and in particular for parrot conservation. We are currently researching for a paper on “Parrots as conservation ambassadors” to be presented at the International Convention on the Conservation of Psittacidae in Tenerife,Spain on September 20-22, 2010 and we hope you can help us with developing this article. We are interested in how conservation education is relevant in your line of work with parrots. The questionnaire only takes about 5 minutes to complete. May we ask you to please answer the survey on or before June 20, 2010? Thank you very much for your valuable contribution!

Sincerely,
Indira Dayang Lacerna-Widmann
