What is Fields of Gold?
Fields of Gold is a regional agritourism initiative that seeks to promote the abundance of agricultural resources in the Shenandoah Valley through a collaborative approach to marketing and promotion. This initiative showcases educational and recreational activities for visitors while sustaining local farms and creating an environment for entrepreneurism.
Fields of Gold Objectives:
Create opportunities for entrepreneurs and existing businesses to grow with the support of an established program
Rebuild valuable connections between rural and urban populations about farms and food production.
Give the general public opportunities to enjoy farming and other outdoor activities and attractions.
Why is this survey important?
Fields of Gold will promote the regions agritourism attractions and businesses through an interactive map and website. The survey will help to identify the already established businesses in the Region.
