WHAT IS A "CONVERSATION HOUR"?
A "Conversation Hour" provides an opportunity to meet in a small group setting with an experienced business leader. A “Conversation Hour” is not intended to be a lecture – instead, it is a time for you to ask questions and gain valuable insights from a business professional. There will be other students at this gathering, so you won’t need to carry the conversation on your own. However, you do want to be prepared to ask questions.

BACKGROUND ABOUT OUR VISITOR:

Stan W. McNaughton leads the PEMCO alliance of companies, which includes PEMCO Insurance and PEMCO Corporation of Washington.

Prior to coming to PEMCO in 1986, Stan served for 6 years as the corporate treasurer for the Herald Newspaper in Everett, Washington. Before that, he worked at Price Waterhouse as a certified public accountant for five years.

Stan serves on the boards of many professional organizations, including Washington Roundtable, Northwest Insurance Council and Washington Research Council. Additionally, he gives substantial time and effort to numerous charitable and safety organizations, including serving on the boards of Partnership for Learning and Junior Achievement. He is also an advisory board member for the Seattle University, Albers School of Business and Foster School of Business, University of Washington.
