Objectives:
1. Discuss the current classification and initial evaluation of a child with a presumed malignant posterior-fossa brain tumor.
2. Explain why the biologic classification and stratification of medulloblastoma is a critical component of not only understanding of the disease, but determining its most appropriate treatment.
3. Illustrate the common complications of treatment of childhood medolloblastoma and how such complications should be initially managed.
