Felicity Murdoch - The Welfare of Backyard Chickens

I am a final year Bio-Veterinary Science student at the Royal Veterinary College, conducting a research project investigation on ‘The Welfare of Backyard Chickens’ that are kept in gardens, allotments or small areas of private land. I want to find out how common they are, how they are being kept and for what purpose’.

If you own a small flock of chickens of 25 bird or less and are able to spare the time to answer a short series of questions below, I would really appreciate your participation in this survey.

It should only take a maximum of 30 minutes. Please answer as many questions as you can. All the information you submit will be completely ANONYMOUS and stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
