1. Youth Taiko Interest Survey
Taiko provides young people an opportunity to learn about respect in Japanese culture, phrases and counting in Japanese, as well as basic rhythms that are found in music across cultures. We can accomplish these goals while playing fun musical games that incorporate movement and vocalization. In addition, we can use the oral tradition of passing down taiko rhythms to learn and play a song.
This survey is for families of children and teens (ages 8-18) who are interested in learning taiko. The goal of this survey is to determine the best programming that we can provide that would be well suited to interested participants.
If you have any questions regarding youth taiko programming, please contact Karen Young: karen@onetaiko.org 617-308-4900 Thank you!
