In an effort to support and promote locally developed mobilization activities, the Bureau of Communicable Diseaases is developing a HIV/AIDS Community Mobilization Strategies Compendium that will highlight locally developed community mobilization efforts, initiatives and programs that have been effective in addressing HIV. This information allows others to benefit from the experiences of their fellow advocates, to learn what works and identify effective mobilization strategies to replicate in their areas.
