You are invited to participate in a survey of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) use within the State of Florida. This survey is brought to you by a volunteer steering committee for statewide GIS coordination (please see http://www.floridadisaster.org/gis/capgrant for more details). The intent of this survey is to gather information to build a business case for coordination of GIS within the State of Florida. Information provided by this survey will assist in demonstrating both the cost and benefits of GIS programs at various levels of government and business.
All entities are welcome to take the survey. In any reports or presentations that are created based on this survey information will be presented in summary only, to protect the confidentiality of individual responses.
Completion of this survey is requested by October 15, 2010 but the survey will remain on-line and additional submissions are welcome after that date. Thank you in advance for your participation.
