EQUAL Youth Center

 

Thanks for your interest in making KC a more queer youth friendly place to live. Empowering Queer Actvists and Leaders (EQUAL) has been Kansas City’s youth-led LGBTQ organization since 2007 and organizes popular events such as the annual EQUAL Empowerment Summit and Day of Silence/Breaking of the Silence.

Since last April, we have been preparing to open a physical youth center for queer youth, allies and other young people who care about social justice and equality. This will be YOUR youth center and so we need your feedback to ensure this is a place you can be yourself and enjoy going to.

The following survey should take 5-10 minutes and asks about what kind of services the youth center should offer. Your answers will be anonymous and confidential. Please only take the survey if you are between 13-22 years of age. If at any time you feel uncomfortable with the questions, please feel free to exit out of the survey; your answers will be discarded.
