CC Needs Assessment 2010

County Inter-Agency Coordinating Council (CIACC) for Cumberland County, as directed by the New Jersey Division of Children's Behavioral Health Services (DCBHS), is conducting a needs assessment to gather opinions from the community about existing services, service needs, service gaps, service strengths and barriers to accessing services.

Recognizing the critical role services play in supporting children and families, the information generated by the needs assessment will play a key role in advocating to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) for the needs of our county.

This survey is being distributed to stakeholders, including, but not limited to families, service providers, community-based groups, and DCF employees. The survey aims to gather a wide range of opinions about existing services, service needs, service gaps, service strengths and barriers to accessing services.

The list on the left will address basic areas of service, including basic needs, substance abuse treatment, mental/behavioral health services, and transitional living services.

There is also an open-ended question included to provide you the opportunity to share your opinion about other areas of services needed or other service-need issues not directly addressed in this survey.

The information gathered will be shared with DCF. They will use the information to inform service planning. This survey is anonymous. Please do not provide your name or any other personal information.

Deadline to complete this survey is August 31, 2010.
