Thank you for your interest in becoming an AshokaU Terp Changemaker College Representative!

Currently in its third year of existence,the University of Maryland AshokaU Terp Changemakers team was founded to help cultivate a culture of social entrepreneurship among students on campus. We envision a campus where students are working among themselves and alongside other community members, using their unique experiences, interests and academic backgrounds to develop and implement innovative solutions to today's challenge. To realize this vision, the team is working hard to become a clearinghouse for student led social entrepreneurship, collecting, organizing and disseminating resources that assist students in developing or supporting entrepreneurial interventions to social problems.

As a College Representative, you would play a key role in connecting students and faculty within your college to social entrepreneurship. Your primary responsibilities would include.


- Acting as the voice of social entrepreneurship in your college
- Compiling a list of social entrepreneurship-related courses, programs and faculty specific to your college by February 3, 2012
- Co-planing at least one social entrepreneurship-related event
- Creating a targeted marketing plan for your college
