Thank you for your interest in the Tree Banding Student Challenge! We are excited to have your school participate in this component of Shout. As a participant, you will join schools around the world in contributing vital information to a global database of student-generated findings, thereby collaborating on an important ecological study of how trees respond to climate!
The success of this three-year study depends on the commitment of participating schools. Before completing this form, please reflect on whether you will be able to commit to collecting tree banding data over this period. (If you are unable to commit to this, please continue visiting www.shoutlearning.org to participate in other Student Challenges.) We require a minimum of two measurements per year: at the beginning and end of the growing season. You may, however, take as many measurements as you like. The more data we get, the better!
