1. Introduction.

This survey is for all TSSA members in Eurostar.

Now that the TSSA one year company-wide pay agreement comes to an end in May 2015, your Company Council Representatives will shortly be meeting with the company to discuss our aspirations and demands on Pay and Conditions of employment for the coming pay year.

Given the low level of RPI inflation as a result of a reduction in oil prices it is likely that the company will not look to match the favorable deals we have had in the past, of course most employees in the railway do not see the benefit of low inflation as our main costs, housing, utilities and food continues to increase. This does present us with an opportunity to look at other employee benefits such as travel facilities as well as other terms and conditions of employment.

Please ensure you have a say in what we take to the table as the claim that your reps take forward belongs to all of the members and requires your input for it to be most effective.

You can be assured that your responses will be kept confidential and will only be used to gain a general consensus of what our members seek to achieve.
