Envision Eugene Meeting #3 Survey

State law requires all cities to update their 20 year population projections, and their Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) to accommodate the new population, every so often. Now is one of those times for Eugene. Over the next 20 years, about 34,000 more people are expected in Eugene. Envision Eugene will seek community input through workshops, websites, and surveys to help inform the creation of a new comprehensive plan and Eugene-specific UGB.
Whether you were able to attend Envision Eugene Meeting #3 at Willamette High School not, we'd like to get your feedback.

You can review the Guiding Principles and learn more about Envision Eugene at our website www.EnvisionEugene.org.
The June 23rd meeting built on what we heard at the first two workshops about approaches to using land more efficiently. Nine refined approaches to managing growth were presented for participants to review and provide feedback on. The nine approaches were:

1. Mixed Use Transit Corridors
2. Mixed Use Centers
3. Mixed Use Downtown
4. Small-Scale Commercial in Neighborhoods
5. Multi-Family Housing Around Hot Spots
6. Increase Density for New Housing
7. Attached & Cluster Housing at Neighborhood Edges
8. Small-Scale Neighborhood Infill
9. More Commercial Uses in Industrial Areas
