Over the past 20 years hypnosis has grown in popularity and acceptance in western culture. Hypnosis associations and training organizations are experiencing remarkable growth. There have been regular anecdotal reports of individuals and groups opposing the use of hypnosis on theological, religious or spiritual grounds. On the other hand many notable religious leaders have been favorable toward hypnosis as a tool. This survey is designed to quantify current thinking about hypnosis among spiritual and religious professionals and leaders. Please take about 10 minutes to answer the questions on the survey.
