Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development
Traveler Information System Users Survey
Welcome to the DOTD Traveler Information System Users Survey!
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) uses several traveler information sources to provide you with the information you need about driving conditions in Louisiana. DOTD launched its statewide 511 service on December 27, 2006. 511 is a 24-hour-a-day, seven days a week telephone and web system providing current information about road conditions, traffic incidents, weather and tourism information affecting driving conditions throughout the state. Recently DOTD launched "Way to Geaux", a new hands-free, eyes-free smartphone application providing Louisiana travelers access to around-the-clock, real-time traffic and road condition updates. DOTD also utilizes social media such as Facebook and Twitter to disseminate traveler information.
Please take a few moments to tell us about your experience with the DOTD Traveler Information System. Your answers will be kept confidential and will be combined with those of other survey respondents.
