About this study:
My name is Cameron Forrest and I am conducting this study as part of my Psychology Honours degree at the University of Adelaide. Through this study I am looking to examine the extent to which video gaming behaviour can be predicted through several aspects of personality, as well as the personality similarities and differences between people who engage in very high frequency video game playing and gambling-type activities.

Please note that an interest in video games or gambling is not necessary. Since this study is comparing gamers with non-gamers as well as with gamblers, participants from each of these groups are required. Therefore, you are more than welcome to participate even if you have never gambled or played a video game before.

Participation in this study is entirely voluntary and you can withdraw from the study at any time. All information is strictly confidential and anonymous. All of the researchers have an interest in gaming and have played video-games for many years. We ask all participants to affirm informed consent prior to beginning the questionnaire.
