Thank you for taking the time to fill out the Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events (DCASE) application for the Downtown Sound / Millennium Park Music concert series.
THIS APPLICATION IS FOR PROJECTS THAT WILL BE READY FOR PERFORMANCE JUNE 2016 – August 2016.
Millennium Park Music features high quality, multi-genre artists presenting unique and original musical performances by local, national, and international talent. Presented on the stage of Pritzker Pavilion on Monday and Thursday evenings, June - August, each concert consists of two performance sets (opening and main).
Submissions are evaluated on an ongoing basis and are reviewed by a committee of DCASE programmers. Due to the high volume of submissions for programs in Millennium Park, please allow 4-5 months from the date of your submission for a decision. Questions regarding our submission policy and process can be directed via e-mail to DCASE@cityofchicago.org. Please do not contact us about the status of your submission, we will notify you if you have been selected. If you have not been selected to perform you will not be contacted. The schedule and bookings for music programs are publicized on www.cityofchicago.org/DCASE.
