The mission of the Minnesota Network on Abuse in Later Life is:
-To promote networks of agencies, organizations and individuals through training and community education to address domestic and sexual abuse in later life, advocacy and perpetrator accountability.
-To promote system change
-To serve as the state clearinghouse on issues of abuse in later life.

For the purpose of this survey, the terms later life/older refer to people ages 50 and older.
