PART I- Each year the City of Pittsfield receives a federal grant (called the Community Development Block Grant) for housing and community development projects that primarily benefit low to moderate income residents. Every five years the City creates a Consolidated Plan which outlines the areas in which the annual grant will be spent over a five year period. We would like you to have a voice in how the Block Grant is spent by telling us where you see the greatest needs in our community. Please rate the need level for each of the following items.

Your own experiences will contribute to the efforts to research obstacles such as the nature and extent of housing discrimination in Pittsfield. Please note: this survey is for informational purposes only. The information will be used to develop strategies to overcome any identified impediments to fair housing choice.
