According to a 2008 CNN report there are estimated 41 million youth sports participants across the United States. That number has risen dramatically over the past two decades. That makes you roughly 1 out of 82 million parents now involved.

Out of the many practices and contests you send your child to they might have the opportunity to not only improve their athletic skills but also learn some valuable life lessons. With intentional parenting and coaching, athletic participation can be a great way to build character.
