A TRAIL FOR LAKE ERIE
Lake Erie Coastal Stewardship Trail
Part of the 2010 Open House & Workshop Series
Weigh in with your thoughts on the Lake Erie Coastal Stewardship Trail.
Trails give us a way to explore the landscape and connect us with people and places. But can trails also foster stewardship and help us protect species and ecosystems? We think the Lake Erie Coastal Stewardship Trail can do just that, but we need your help!
By participating in this online workshop, you can help us refine concepts and best practices for the proposed Lake Erie Stewardship Trail. If you have a favourite route or feel a beloved picnic site or scenic lookout deserves mention, here is an opportunity to let us know about it.
Give the gift of time.
Please note the time it takes you to complete this workbook.
We consider your knowledge and input a critical contribution.
Please remember to estimate your time contribution on the final page of this workbook.
This workbook is designed so you may return to questions at your convenience (as long as there is only one respondent per computer).
If you are unable to complete all the questions, please proceed to the end of the survey (Part 5, Question 3) and estimate the time you spent on it. Every minute counts.
Please note: Once you have started, you will not be able to save this workbook and log back in at another date. If you do not have time to complete this workbook in one session, please ensure you submit what you have started (click the “done” button on the final page). Since multiple submissions are permissible, you may continue at a later date by opening a new survey.

Please note:
In general, we tend to refer to the Lake Erie Coast as the area directly influenced by the Lake - usually up to 5 or 10 km from the shoreline. If you have ideas about sites farther than 10 km from the shore, please feel free to include them.
