The Civic Theatre deadline for proposals

The City has set a deadline of May 31st for requests for proposals for the Civic Theatre. I do not believe that this short deadline serves our community the best. While this may be sufficient time for an experienced profit making company to come up with good looking proposals, our community organizations (Squash Court, Movie Theatre, Climbing Wall and other interests) will not have the experience nor time to present a responsible well-researched community-based proposal.
