On an annual basis, the Foster Care Review Board (FCRB) will recognize one lawyer-guardian ad litem (LGAL) for exemplary work on behalf of abused or neglected children.

Nominations may be submitted by child welfare agencies, local courts, attorney organizations, CASAs, foster parents, or any interested person familiar with the nominee.

Nominations will be accepted through September 6.

The recipient of this award will be selected by a committee comprised of FCRB board members, advisory committee professionals and advocates, child welfare professionals, and FCRB program staff. The award recipient will be recognized on November 6 at the FCRB annual training conference in Dearborn, Michigan.
