Any tips, suggestions, recommendations, or words of wisdom for us would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Question Title * 10. We call ourselves LotFotL COMMUNITY Farm, because we truly aim to create with food a vibrant(though somewhat transitory) community of members. It is for this reason that we write the newsletter and blog posts, host events, make donations to appropriate charities, etc. The following are some "off the top of my head" ideas I have as to how we could expand opportunities in this regard. Please check off any of the ideas that are appealing to you and feel free to add in your own. Bring a pot luck into Milwaukee or Waukesha so our members don't have to travel as far Set up a monthly farm tour schedule complete with car-pooling Feature a member of the week in the newsletter, sharing their story with the community Find fund raising opportunities for the broader community that overlap with ours, and solicit member participation in exchange for some sort of discount on our products Gear, like coffee cups, hats, bumper stickers(I am LotFotL!), items to make membership in the community more visible A member sounding board: sort of like a lotfotl craigslist, closed for members, allowing you to communicate most anything you'd like to other members(need a sitter, dog for sale, great recipe others just need to know about, etc). The option for those of means, should they choose, to help pay for the shares of those in hard times, via a subsidization pool the farm manages I don't need or want any of this. Money for food and thank you very much is good enough for me other ideas Done
