1. General Information

Thank you for your interest in being a volunteer at CNU 21 in Salt Lake City, UT, May 29 - June 1, 2013.
Volunteers are offered a 4-day registration for the highly discounted fee of $75. A minimum of 10 hours of volunteer time is required. Volunteers are entitled to participate in any of the non-ticketed sessions, workshops or plenary sessions (including the opening session), provided that there is no conflict with the volunteer schedule.

Each volunteer is responsible for their own travel arrangements, lodging, and other expenses.

The Congress for the New Urbanism takes place over the course of 4 days and consists of a wide range of events occurring at the Grand America Hotel and other locations in and around Salt Lake City. The average volunteer shift will be between 1.5 and 4 hours long.
The following list consists of ways you can assist us in achieving a successful Congress. It is possible that you may work several of these tasks over the course of the conference.

VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES
• Congress registration
• Session audio/visual and lights, CEU’s collection
• Directing attendees to meeting rooms
• Collecting tickets
• Stuffing packets
• Running errands
• Assisting with Tours
• Assisting with Special events

VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION
Volunteer tasks and other information will be explained in detail at the MANDATORY volunteer orientation session on TBA. The orientation will take place at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City.

DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION FEE: Volunteers are offered a 4-day registration for the highly discounted fee of $75. Volunteers will be asked to provide a $175 payment when registering, and will receive a $100 reimbursement upon completion of at least ten hours of volunteer time. Registration information will be provided upon selection.
